ABOUT US
A study that consists of components of creating a streetwear brand. Including: logo, graphics, stickers, skateboarding, graffiti etc. To create a streetwear brand I decided to follow the route of the source: skate culture. Streetwear is a culture in and of itself created by skate and hip hop culture in the 1990’s. It has then been adapted in modern luxury brands such as Off-White and has even been adapted by Dior. I studied brands such as Supreme, Billionaire Boys Club, Ice Cream, Palace and even instagram based streetwear blogs such as hidden. I concluded that a common ground through these brands are a strong versatile/iconic logo, a social media presence carried out by locals or commoners (hence desert commons), 90’s style photographs, skateboard designs, toys, etc. This is my iteration of my own streetwear brand that combines street and my own Kuwaiti culture.
